It's so fun using candid photography to capture people's personalities and relationships. I love what I do!

 

I am accepting appointments for candid outdoor shoots of high school seniors, children/babies, family groups, casual events, and engagement photos. I also enjoy shooting candids at wedding receptions. The rates below include complimentary touch-ups on 3 of your favorite images.

 

Rates--Outdoor session fee--$149/hour + tax

Option A--add a CD of media-ready images to make your own prints--$49 + tax

Option B--add custom packages starting at $299 + tax

  

CaringBridge--Blue Leaf is Offering a Free Shoot

Lately I've taken photos for CaringBridge's website--a photo of the employees as a group, and some shots of individual board members. Now I am offering a free photo shoot to a CaringBridge family (http://amplifierhub2.caringbridge.org/forums/viewtopic/34/143). If you know anyone who may qualify, please help get us connected.

 

Blue Leaf is a Southwest Metro Magazine Photo Contest Winner!

For years Blue Leaf images have been part of Eden Prairie Magazine's "Last Glance" feature (including the ones on this page). Now the magazine has broadened its name (and scope) to Southwest Metro Magazine. I just learned that one of my photos, which won 2nd place in the Activities category of their 2012 contest, will be used as the "Last Glance" piece in their June 2013 issue. Hunter/Jumper Horse Show Website features Blue Leaf Photos

The yearly Minnesota Harvest Horse Festival in St. Paul is "the country's longest-running, indoor and exclusively hunter/jumper horse show." Many photos which I took for them in 2008 are now being used on their website. http://www.minnesotaharvesthorseshow.com/ The website has several layers, so have fun poking around a bit to find them. A portion of the 2008's show's proceeds benefited "We Can Ride," a nonprofit volunteer-based organization which uses therapeutic horseback riding to serve children and adults with disabilities.

 

Fredrikson & Byron/Blue Leaf Part of "Lawyers & the Louvre"--Creative Staff

"Hey, Baby!" (bottom) is one of four Blue Leaf framed prints that Fredrikson purchased to adorn conference room walls. Fredrikson sponsored the Louvre exhibit at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in 2011 and also highlighted the creativity of some attorneys and staff members for their website, including me. https://www.fredlaw.com/louvre/photographers.html.
